Materials around us can be classified into different groups based on their properties and characteristics.

Materials can be magnetic or non-magnetic: Certain materials possess the property of magnetism and are attracted to magnets, while others are non-magnetic and do not interact with magnets.

Materials can be sorted based on their uses: Materials can be sorted into groups based on their specific uses or applications. For example, metals are commonly used for making tools and machinery, while wood is used for construction and furniture.

Recycling of materials helps in conservation and waste reduction: It explains the importance of recycling materials to conserve resources, reduce waste, and protect the environment. Recycling involves reusing or transforming materials to create new products.
